Overview

This update resolves several issues with Parcel Builder Version 3.3. A list of revisions included in this service pack are shown below.


Installation Instructions

Parcel Builder Version 3.3 must already be installed on your computer. The user installing this update must have administrative privileges. To install, double-click on ServicePackPB33_1.exe and follow the instructions.

Parcel Builder Administrator Module

Parcel Builder Administrator

• When creating a new task the acreage would default to a null or empty value. This has been changed so that the acreage defaults to 0.
• PINs that do not have the parcel group at the end of the glyph are unable to increment new PINs.
• PINs that contain an underscore (_) in the parcel glyph cause issues building the parcel treeview and viewing records in the grid.


Parcel Builder MapEditor Module

Parcel Builder Configuration

• When configuring a line featureclass as a Parcel Builder Cadastral Line featureclass the subtypes are labeled incorrectly.


Describe Layer Tool

• This tool would be enabled if a layer was not selected in the table of contents of ArcMap.


Visible Scale Manager

• The subtypes of an annotation featureclass appear to be individual layers listed on the form rather than associated to the annotation featureclass.


Workflow

• When executing a process step from an existing workflow that was opened that contains snap settings, the snapping tolerance zeros out.
• If a user attempts to open the same workflow twice, after the second time an extra unwanted workflow folder is created.
• Opening a workflow file that contains more than one workflow allows the user to be able to use the Save option. By using the Save option can overwrite the existing workflow file with just one workflow.
• Saving of a workflow to a file was incorrectly storing CAD layer file information. (This will require users to adjust their workflows by Changing Settings and not Troubleshooting if any settings include CAD layers.) • Some sample workflows contained incorrect saved snapping tolerance information.


Parcel Builder MapViewer Module

• If the identify window is open and another tool such as the navigation tools or select tool is used, the identify tool will not work until the identify window is closed and the tool reselected.

Version Number

• The current version is 3.3.15.
• You can verify the installed Parcel Builder version by going to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Parcel Builder Version 3.3 and clicking on the “Click here for support information”.
